Message from Peter following the Poppy Appeal at our last service:
Dear friends, with a friend as witness, I have opened the Poppy Appeal collection boxes and, this afternoon I will make the day for the teller in the bank when I pay in the takings, particularly the heap of coins !
The total was a useful €890.86. Individual results were:

I am most grateful to everyone who helped. As you know, the Royal British Legion spends some £1.3 million a week helping the many whose lives have been devestated by all the many conflicts into which our Services have been thrust and those other ex-servicemen and their families who need help. It relies heavily on the efforts of those like us.
